April Edition

The latest paper is out in Nailsworth shops, so pick up a copy.

So, we now have a route map out of Lockdown. It is still going to be a fair time and we have to be cautious, but maybe the light is visible at the end of the tunnel.

If you'd like to help the paper team out, by getting involved with creation, or by delivering to your local area, give us a shout.

The Elections

Details of the 6th May local elections are on our Election 2021 page. There will not be a Town Council Election, but there will be County, District and Police & Crime Commissioner elections.

Nailsworth is not unusual in not having enough nominated persons for an election: there will only be 4 Parish/Town council elections in the Stroud District.

The Nailsworth News and the Pandemic

The paper is is available on this website, in the panel on the right, and is also distributed to K&G, Tesco, Co-op, Brutons, Morrisons, and Lawnside Stores. We will resume normal distribution when we are sure our volunteer distributors are safe.

There are not enough copies to go round every household, but perhaps some of you could pick up a copy for a housebound neighbour.

We have continued publishing because community and communications are so important in this lockdown.

Right now are committed to producing the paper, so please keep on sending in material. If there are any changes in production schedule etc., we will post them up here.
Enjoy the issue. If you have any articles or facts of interest that you think would be great in the paper, let us have them by emailing us on the link below.
